Lucky Girl is Jill Suttie's first collection of songs is an eclectic mix of rocking roots and folk-rock ballads, inspired by her life, her loves, and her politics. She has two grown sons, and she lives with her husband, Don, and their dog Casey "high on a hill" in Berkeley, California.

Indie Folk Rock singer-songwriter, Jill Suttie, began playing a nylon string guitar when she was 12 years old, to accompany herself while singing James Taylor and Joni Mitchell songs. She swapped that guitar for a steel string and played throughout her young adult life.
